Stikfas has announced two new kits to their line-up. Both are new versions of popular oldies and are sure to be hot sellers. For us, the Samurai and the Ninja’s were always some of the best selling kits we had and we were disappointed when we heard they were being discontinued. Okay, well maybe we don’t really want to brow beat you into buying product from us but I am surprised at how little interest their has been in the Cool Rockets we started carrying.  Maybe it’s my love of vintage Sci-Fi but I am really impressed with these things.  I have 3 on my desk but sales have just been trickling in. 

If you don’t know what a Cool Rocket is, here is a good description right from their web site: “Cool Rockets is a line of resin-cast, hand-finished rocket ships, all inspired by the styles of the 40’s and 50’s rockets from comics, TV, and toys. All the designs are original inspirations of an era,  not copies of some vehicle you’ve seen in a movie or TV show.”

Yes, yes, I know, we finally get a bunch of people checking out the blog on a daily basis and subscribe to our feeds and bam, we get swamped and the blog is the first thing to suffer.  Well, this is just a quick post to let you know that we are back on track and you can expect regular blog updates again from here on out.

Last week, in our newsletter, we announced a major clearance event going on at YouBuyNow.com.  We have added a ton of great product to our clearance section, everything on that page is marked down 20% - 50%. 

To be completely honest, some of this stuff has been on our site for years and we haven’t been able to sell it at any price.  We realize that further discounting it may not make it any more attractive but we also feel that the “crap” is a relatively small percentage of the figures now on that page.  We are growing fast and expnding and we are trying to make room on our shelves.  Much of the action figures on our clearance page is older stuff that we got too much of, or items we had sitting in our “damaged” section that has damaged packaging but the figure is in perfect condition or stuff that has been selling okay but we need to clear out for newer stock.
