In an effort to compete with Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim, SCI FI Channel is launching a new Anime block on their network called Ani-Mondays.   It is set to launch on June 11th at 11 PM with the US broadcast premier of Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex Solid State Society.  That movie isn’t going to be available until July 3rd so it’s a pretty impressive start to their new endeavor.  As someone who doesn’t get any of the Anime only channels, I am excited to hear that another network will be giving Anime the attention it deserves.

I am a big fan of Lost but I am not enjoying it as much as I used to. It’s for the same reasons you have heard a hundred times from everyone else I am sure, the time changes, the gaps in airing the show, the endless twists with no answers in-sight, etc… However, I heard some news today that got me a bit more excited about this show. The producers of Lost have determined that the last season will be in 2010. At least now we know that they aren’t going to drag it on forever and will eventually need to wrap all these loose ends up.
