New Images of Joker Released
Friday, November 30th, 2007A full size image of Heath Ledger in all his Joker glory for the upcoming Batman Dark Knight Returns movie has been released. It’s causing quite a stir online, some people hate it, others love it. Personally, I love it, I think it’s a much more realistic view of what the Joker might look like after chemical burns. He looks like the psychotic Joker I hoped for. You can check it out here and then come back and let us know what you think.
From NECA, we have the second set of God of War Action Figures. The first series was insanely popular and have been on back order for awhile. NECA insists they will be shipping more of the first series soon. This second series is very impressive, nice sculpt, good design and well painted. The biggest dissappointment is how similar the two figures are. We have an open mouth and closed mouth version of this action figure. Other than that one feature, they are the same. Warner Home Video has revealed the details of its February 26th, 2008 release of the animage movie based on Darwyn Cooke’s DC: The New Frontier graphic novel from 2004. It will be similiar to the animated Movies that Marvel has been releasing lately in that it will go direct to DVD. It is being produced by animation veteran Bruce Timm, JLA: The New Frontier is the epic saga of the founding of the Justice League. It features a top flight vocal cast including David Boreanaz, Brooke Shields, Lucy Lawless, Neil Patrick Harris, Miguel Ferrer, Kyra Sedgwick, Jeremy Sisto, and Kyle MacLachlan and will be available for an SRP of $19.98.
