We got some great new stuff from NECA today, the first items up are the new Aliens vs. Predator Requiem action figures for the upcoming movie. From NECA’s Player select line we received the first series of Castlevania action figures in today. We only got a small shipment and sold out of some of them in pre-order already. Behold, the Speed Racer movie trailer! I am still a bit skeptical but I think the trailer looks great. They could actually pull it off.

I was so excited to finally get confirmation that they were going to make a Justice League movie but everything I am reading about this project has me prepared for dissappointment. The movie has run into all kinds of script problems which can’t be ironed out until after the writers strike is over and now the LA Times has unofficially reported on who has been cast to play the big roles. Warner Brothers won’t confirm or deny it but I can’t say I am all that impressed with the lineup. The latest news to hit the blogosphere is that Adam Brody from OC fame will be playing the Flash. Adam Brody? The Flash?

They have also released that Megan Gale, an Australian actress will be playing Wonder Woman, Scott Porter from Friday Night Lights will play Superman, Teresa Palmer from Wolfs Creek will play Talia al Ghul and the rapper Common wil be the Green Lantern.
