I am a big fan of minimates, I have a shelf in my office with all of my Marvel Minimates, Battlestar Galactica Minimates, and Lord of the Rings Minimates. I don’t know why I love them so much. Maybe they remind me of the block figures I played with as a kid or maybe it’s the amazing articulation and accessories they are able to provide with these little figures. Whatever it is, the minimates line has been one of my consistent favorites over the last couple of years.

Well, starting this month, I can finally add my favorite DC characters to my minimates shelf. This month, the first series of DC Minimates will be released from DC Direct with series 2 coming out shortly after that. We have had them available for pre-order on our site for quite some time now and many of you have already reserved your set.

This morning, we went ahead and added the 3rd series of DC Minimates to our site as a pre-order. This third series will include Aquaman with Oceanmaster, Battle-Damage Batman with Killer Croc, Deathstroke with Green Arrow, and Wonder Woman with Ares.
