NECA has released color photo’s of their new God of War action figures.  If you are a not a gamer, God of War is a popular (and damn fun) Playstation 2 game.  In the game, you play Kratos, a powerful warrior and leader was thought to be unstoppable.  During a fateful battle with a Barbarian tribe, Kratos’s army was decimated and Kratos was forced to call upon Ares, the God of War, for help.  But Ares got more than he bargained for from his pact with Kratos.

NECA is realeasing two figures, the first figure is Kratos and it is from the first God of War game.  It is highly articulated and comes with his famous Blades of Chaos as well as his flaming chains that the blades can be attached to.  The second figure is Kratos with Golden Fleece armor.  It is from the upcoming God of War 2 and it features a more serious head sculpt and comes with the blades of chaos and the head of Medusa.

 All in all, NECA’s products can be hit or miss.  We are either thrilled with them, or dissapointed in the sculpt and paint application.  From the pictures we have see, the Kratos figure looks top notch and we are excited to possibly see it up close at Toy Fair this year.
