The 1:6 scale figures from DC Direct (used to be the 13″ Deluxe line) have always been consistent sellers on YouBuyNow.  We attempt to keep most of the available figures in-stock at all times.  They aren’t for everyone but if you collect larger scale figures, they have always done a pretty nice job with this line.  We have had some 1:6 figures available for over year with some impressive sales numbers.  What has blown us away is that the newley released Dark Knight Joker 1:6 figure has outsold every other 1:6 DC figure we have carried.

Part of that, I am sure, is fueled byt he death of Heath Ledger but we hope that the main reason for these high sales is that it’s a really well done figure.  Thisis one of the best 1:6 figures DC has put out and they have done a great job of capturing what the Joker looks like in the upcoming movie.  Check it out for yourself on our Batman Deluxe Figure page.

NECA talked to us about this at Toy Fair and we thought it would be a great idea.  Since the original comics that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were based on were all in black and whate, they are releasing black and white versions of these very popular figures.  The picture doesn’t do it a lot of justice, they had some samples that they showed us back in February and for a figure that had no color, they looked pretty sharp.  Check them out on our Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Page.

I really love the block style figures. I collect most of the Minimate lines and have liked much of the licensed Kubrick lines. I haven’t seen any of the unlicensed Bearbricks or Kubricks that peeked my interest so my Kubrick collection is pretty small. BUT, it just got bigger, 400% bigger! I have the 400% Batman and 400% Star Wars Kubricks (used to have them on YouBuyNow but they sold out) on my desk. Today, I have added our new Alien 400% kubrick to my desk and it looks awesome.

Enter Bay makes some real top quality stuff and this figure is no exception. This is part of their Real Masterpiece 1:6 scale line and comes with multiple outfits. Measuring nearly 12″ tall, the figure features an articulated body which may be posed and modeled in various kung-fu stances and attack postures. Bruce Lee’s body is also ripped and chiseled for an authentic look. This deluxe Bruce Lee action figure is scheduled to be released at the end of August and since it’s an import, it’s best to pre-order it if you want to secure one of these bad boys for yourself.
